Jeff is a licensed Professional Engineer and graduate of Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, specializing in Autonomous Control Systems. He also holds an Engineering Technology Diploma in Power Systems. Jeff continues his education, having attended the Executive Management Program at the Schulich School of Business and is an active member in the IEEE Computer Society having won the IEEE Live Member Award in 2004.
Jeff has undertaken progressive management positions within the telecommunication and power distribution industries. He has over 20 years of experience that encompasses product management and engineering along with network operations in both startups and large enterprises.
Jeff is an active contributor within the Cable and Telecommunication industries across North America having actively participated within Cablelabs, IEEE, Metro Ethernet Forum, and other industry assemblies. In 2015, Jeff joined HCE Telecom and began creating and executing upon a Product and Services roadmap formally establishing HCE Telecomas a fibre based telecommunications provider.
Jeff also sits on the Mayor of Hamilton’s Intelligent Community Committee and presents to the committee on the ever-changing world of technology and how the City can leverage its current and future assets to benefit not just the city but the greater community as well.

David is an innovative engineer with experience in Operations, Maintenance, Business Development and Project Delivery from design to startup with more than 25 years in metal and mining as well as electrical power development. Roles include reshaping of a 2000 member Engineering and Maintenance & Services group to reduce costs while maintaining high service levels, creation of an energy business to improve profitability and viability of a commodities business in CCAA as well as commissioning and starting up a $5.5 billion mining and metals project in Madagascar employing over 9000 people. David received his Bachelor of Engineering Science (Chemical) from the University of Western Ontario and is a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
